Twilight Leagues coming soon!

The team at Steelers Sports are excited to announce a new project for 2017/2018. Thanks to the Queensland Government, through the Embracing 2018 Legacy Program for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, Steelers Sports, in partnership with the Multicultural Sports Club, has received funding to undertake a series of Multicultural Women’s Leagues in Logan with the goal of getting women and girls active for life.

The project will include:

• Leagues across four different sports – Volleyball, Touch, Soccer and Netball.
• Training and Qualification pathways for young women from Multicultural Backgrounds
• A Multicultural Youth Tournament in 2018 to celebrate the sporting skills and cultural diversity of youth in Logan.

Our Netball leagues will be commencing in November 2017 with Volleyball, Touch and Soccer rolling out in February 2018.

We are excited to for this new initiative and couldn’t do it without the support of our project partners – Multicultural Sports Club and Logan City Netball Association.

Registrations will open shortly for the Leagues.
